Traffic

Traffic is the only screen fed by Google Analytics 4 rather than Search Console. It exists so you can see the whole site, not only search, next to the SEO data — and so that the "search share" figure tells you how much of your audience the rest of Glimana actually covers.

Last 28 days: KPIs with comparison, users per day with event markers, channels and top pages.

Setup

Map a GA4 property to the site under avatar → Connections → Property mappings. Until then the page shows a notice with the link. Data starts flowing with the next fetch (daily; Fetch GSC/GA4 on the All sites row forces it).

Periods

Real-time (30 min) uses the GA4 realtime API and shows active users, their pages and sources — handy right after publishing. Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days and Last 28 days compare with the equivalent previous period. GA4 itself reports with a delay of up to 24–48 hours for some metrics; Today is partial by nature.

Hide my own traffic excludes visits from the IP addresses Glimana has seen you use to open the panel. It is a view filter, not a change to your GA4 property.

KPIs

Users, Sessions, Engaged sessions (with engagement rate), Conversions (the GA4 key events you marked as conversions) and Search share of users — organic search users as a share of all users, with the GSC coverage figure: Search Console clicks divided by GA4 organic users. Coverage well below 100% usually means consent-mode sampling or ad blockers; it is normal and worth knowing when you compare the two sources.

Users per day

The chart carries the same chart notes as the dashboard: crawls, publishes, Google updates and your own notes. A dip that lines up with a marker has a candidate explanation; one that does not is worth a look at the Keywords screen's Falling tab.

Channels and top pages

Channels follow GA4's default channel grouping (Organic Search, Direct, Referral, Social, Email, Paid…) with one Glimana addition: AI assistants, which groups referrals from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Gemini and similar sources so you can watch that channel grow. Top pages show users, average engagement time and the conversion rate per page.

Why this screen exists next to Search Console

Search Console counts clicks on Google results; GA4 counts people who arrived. They disagree for good reasons (consent, blockers, redirects, non-Google engines). Glimana uses Search Console for everything that drives tasks and measurement because it is complete and unsampled; GA4 is here for context and for the channels Search Console cannot see.
