Thin content
thin_contentShort answer
The page has under 300 words and received no impressions on Google in the last 28 days. Google's John Mueller has said word count is not a quality or ranking factor, so do not add words for their own sake. Ask instead: does this page answer a search? If yes, make it answer fully; if it has no separate purpose, merge it into a related page (301) or noindex it.
Why it matters
Short pages that rank are not thin — they are efficient, and Glimana excludes any short page that appears in search. The ones listed get no impressions at all, which usually means they duplicate another page, exist only for navigation, or were never finished. Many such pages dilute crawl budget and, after the 2026 spam updates, scaled low-value pages can affect how Google sees the whole site. This row is informational so you can review, not a task to write filler.
How Glimana detects it
Indexable 200 pages with 1–299 words of main text that had zero impressions in Search Console over the last 28 days. Pages with impressions are skipped even if short.
How to fix it
Review the list by section. Typical outcomes:
- Merge — the page repeats a section of a better page: 301 it there.
- Expand — the page targets a real question: answer it properly (text, data, an example), then re-crawl.
- Noindex — the page is for navigation or a form step: keep it, take it out of the index and the sitemap.
- Delete — abandoned drafts: 410.
