Article-like page without Article schema
article_schema_missingShort answer
Glimana thinks this page is an article: it has a publication date, an og:type of article, or lives under a blog/news path, and it has at least 300 words. But there is no Article, NewsArticle or BlogPosting structured data. Article markup lets Google show the headline, image and date correctly in Top Stories, Discover and regular results. This issue affects rich results in search. Add Article schema with headline, image, datePublished and author.
Why it matters
Google can extract a date and author from the HTML, but structured data removes the guesswork and is what makes a page eligible for article rich results and the large-image treatment in Discover. The author property is also how Google connects the page to an author entity.
How Glimana detects it
The rule fires for an indexable page that is not already detected as an article (no Article-type schema) when at least one signal says it is one (a datePublished/article:published_time meta, og:type=article, or a /blog/-style path) and the word count is ≥ 300.
How to fix it
Yoast, Rank Math and SEOPress emit Article schema for posts automatically; if this fires, the content type is probably a custom post type or a page. Set the schema type for that post type to Article in the plugin's Schema settings.
Shopify blog templates in most themes include BlogPosting JSON-LD; if yours does not, add a block in sections/main-article.liquid using article.title, article.image, article.published_at and article.author.
Emit JSON-LD from the article record. Use the full-resolution image (ideally ≥ 1200 px wide, several aspect ratios) and ISO 8601 dates with timezone.

"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "Article",
"headline": "How we measure crawl depth",
"image": ["https://example.com/img/depth-16x9.jpg"],
"datePublished": "2026-09-12T08:00:00+00:00",

}
How the fix is verified
Re-crawl; the task closes when the page has Article-type structured data.
